This quiet pond makes a peaceful scene. Everything is lush and green at the beginning of Spring.
A large cruise ship is being pulled by a tiny tug as it prepares to to depart. I took this picture through the window of the buffet dining room as we ate breakfast.
Beautiful homes line the waterway as we enter the harbor at Southampton. The morning sun is still casting a golden glow.

The few bushes that are not in bloom now will bloom in the summer. They say there is always something in bloom until winter.

Here I am in front of a massive display of azalias. The weather was quite chilly, but we were actually very comfortable as the sun came out in midday.

After a beautiful drive past New Forest, the largest area of woodland in England, we arrive at Exbury Gardens. The huge variety and spectacular display of color is breathtaking.

The sunrise over the ocean. The sun is getting up a little higher and the mist is thinning as we continue our entry into Southampton harbor.
As we enter the harbor in Southampton, the sun is just rising with a mist of fog. No filters or photoshop were added to this image. This is the color of the sunrise on the fog exactly as it looked that morning from the rail of the ship.
