August 5 - A flower for today. Not very sharp but I didn't have my tripod and the flowers were dancing in the wind. My best offering for the day.

July 28 - This is how we tell time out here in the country. Just kidding, but it does work. It's called an armillary sphere sundial. This one actually only has a half sphere.

August 1 - Picking the Ruby Red grapefruit. Notice how the tree is trimmed across the bottom. We don't do that, the rabbits do. They keep all the citrus trimmed about 18 inches off the ground. Lucky for us, they don't seem to like the fruit, only the leaves. They do eat the apricots, peaches and plums as they fall off the trees though. We find the pits on the ground completely cleaned of fruit.
