Tuesday night, October 23 - The Harris fire spread across the hills behind Proctor valley (that you can see in the previous photo). Driven west by the Santa Anna winds, it reached Mt. Miguel and traveled up the eastern slope and around the south slope to the west side too. In this photo you can see the glow of the fire in Spring Valley on the far right side. This was taken from the deck outside our bedroom on the second floor.
